MD, is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-guided Therapy at the Medical University of Vienna, Vienna, Austria. He serves as the Deputy Head of the Division of General and Paediatric Radiology and is the Section Chief of Thoracic Imaging. His research primarily focuses on the diagnosis and staging of lung cancer, as well as the application of deep learning in diagnosing diffuse parenchymal lung diseases. He is the honorary secretary of EFSUMB and serves as the Deputy Editor of the journal European Radiology. He has published more than 250 articles, reviews, or book chapters.
