Kim Nylund was born in Harstad, Norway in 1974. He received his Medical Degree at University of Bergen in 2000 and Ph.D. in 2013. He has specialised in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He was appointed Associate Professor at University of Bergen in 2018. He has been author or co-author on 34 original papers, 12 review papers and 12 popular science papers, written 3 book chapters and edited 2 abstract books. His present positions are: Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Medicine, University of Bergen;Consultant and Clinical Researcher, Department of Medicine, Haukeland University Hospital, Bergen, Norway.
