Degree in Medicine in 1997 and post-graduate fellow in Endocrinology in 2002 at the Federico II University of Naples, European University Research Diploma in Clinical Oncology (DUERCC) in 2003 at the “Paris-SUD” University and PhD in Molecular Oncology and Endocrinology in 2007.
Since November 2023 he is Full Professor of Endocrinology at the Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine, Sapienza University of Rome, Sant’Andrea University Hospital of Rome.
He is author of about 300 full papers in international peer reviewed journals (H-index 52), the most part on endocrine neuroendocrine tumors and genetic endocrine syndrome. In 2022 lifetime achievement award of the Italian Society of Endocrinology “Premio SIE alla carrier”.
