Dirk-André Clevert is a Professor of Radiology at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, he is the chair of the Interdisciplinary Ultrasound-Center at the University of Munich-Grosshadern Campus. He has published extensively on many aspects of Ultrasound and has pioneered the introduction of contrast-enhanced ultrasound, Strain Imaging and Image Fusion. He is the Editor of 2 books and has published over 345 scientific pubmed listed articles. He lectures widely with over 950 presentations at national and international meetings. His current research interests include the application of contrast enhanced ultrasound to the testis and vascular. Additionally, he focuses on renal and liver diseases by using the latest ultrasound technic like Stain imaging, CEUS and Image Fusion. Prof. Clevert is a member of ESFUMB, ESGAR, ESR, DRG, RSNA and DEGUM, as well as an honorary member of Korean Society of Ultrasound in Medicine.
