We are pleased to invite you to be part of EUROSON 2024, which will be held in the congress center at the Maritime Station in Naples, Italy as a joint congress between The European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB) and the Italian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (SIUMB) from November 9th-11th 2024 (for SIUMB participants until the 12th).<\/p>\n

We are pleased to have a very interesting program covering everything from basic to advanced techniques and intervention within many different anatomical areas and with focus on multiparametric ultrasound. There will be focused days\/courses for specific fields of interest: MSK, pediatric, vascular, veterinary, endocrinology etc. We are especially proud to welcome our veterinarian colleagues and hope this event will facilitate the use of ultrasound among veterinarians for the benefit of our animal friends. We are also proud to host a EUROSON school on \u201cContrast Enhanced Ultrasound: from basic to advanced application\u201d covering the use of CEUS in the abdomen and beyond for diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound. At the conference you can refresh old knowledge and be introduced to new techniques among ultrasound enthusiasts and friends from around the world. We would like to thank the scientific committee for all their hard work in making this possible.<\/p>\n

This year we are very pleased to have again a students\u2019 congress organized in collaboration with the EFSUMB Students\u2019 Committee and are looking forward to welcoming the future of medicine and ultrasound. This is a chance to meet professional collaborators and establish new friendships with colleagues from around the world. The program will cover basic and advanced techniques along with multiple hands-on sessions held in the SonoCave \u2013 a returning refugium for ultrasound enthusiasts who would like to practice their skills and be introduced to new techniques with multiple systems and specialists available. The SonoCave is open to all participants in EUROSON.<\/p>\n

The beautiful city of Naples is a city of science, culture and art; a city where people enjoy the art of living, and where history is always present. The tale says that the city was born from where the body of Parthenope, a siren, was washed ashore when her song failed to entice Odysseus. A sea port open to communication with the world, where no one feels like a foreigner \u2013 just as we feel our ultrasound societies are.<\/p>\n

All this would not be possible without the great help from our industry partners who have again been very helpful with their support with systems etc. We believe our relationship is a fruitful one.<\/p>\n
